Food was good minus the hard stuff on fish that couldn’t be chewed. Nice music and the service is top notch. Not one time did I have to ask for fill up. The service is what makes this place special. I would definitely come back for good service and food. My biggest problem was a sick child coughing everywhere and parents didn’t tell child to cover mouth when coughing. If your child is sick please keep them at home. It’s not healthy for customers and the staff.
This is a hidden gem. We came in on a Thursday afternoon and we’re surprised to see only one other party. The atmosphere was smooth with neo-soul, and R&B vibes. The staff was great, and we didn’t have a long wait for our food. As a group we ordered salmon sticks, chicken and waffles, french toast, and a salmon salad. The portions were great, chicken was well seasoned, plus the waffles and french toast came with peach cobbler and sweat potato syrup options. Those were next level. Highly recommend.
Great food. Service was better on my first visit. I think the second visit, the waitress, was either new. But both experiences were good. I enjoyed the food immensely. Great atmosphere. I enjoy their selection from apps to entrees and drinks alcoholic and non. I would suggest this establishment for brunch, etc. Their fried green tomatoes are awesome! I'll be back. The picture is from the first visit! Second visit I had the "tell the truth" burger if I remember right,...which was amazing.
The food was so good! If you go, you have to try the cheese grits. They’re the best I’ve ever had. My only complaint is that for a restaurant that adds an 18% gratuity to all tabs, the servers should be more attentive. They were VERY nice, but we saw our server about five times. She brought drinks(1), she took our order (2), she brought our appetizer (3), she brought our food (4), then brought the check (5). We would have preferred to be checked on every now and then in case we needed anything. Other than that, definitely 4 stars and food is great.
We ordered the French toast, catfish, and fried green tomatoes.
Went here for lunch on a weekday with my people. There was only 2 other parties of 2 dining. We all got a variety of food so we could share. All the food was good but it's typical brunch menu you can find anywhere. Our waitress was nice and I there was another lady there I think she was the manager, she was nice also. It did take a while for our food to come. It was a party of 5 and it took over an hour and we couldn't understand why because the other two parties before us already had their food. The have added gratuity which I don't like. I don't care what the restaurant is, don't add money to my tab even before I sit down. The gratuity is %18 and high depending on the size party. I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the hour wait in an empty restaurant and the added gratuity. The menu is pricey also. I don't know if I'd ever go there again.
We were a party of 6 including 2 small kids. The food took 3 hours to come out and we had to cancel some of our parties order because they never got their food. The people that did get their food it was cold and seem like it had been sitting. Manager claims everything is cook to order but our food was COLD. She would not let us take it off the bill and gave us a discount of $1.95. Also, our server was not attentive at all. It took over 30 mins just to bring out our drinks and even longer to get refills. We came on a saturday and it was not busy at all so we are trying to figure out why our food was taking so long to cook. There were other guest coming in hours after us getting drink and their food out faster than we were. HORRIBLE experience 0/10.
This place is spectacular. The presentation is phenomenal and it tastes even better than it looks!!!! I has the shrimp deviled eggs and salmon nuggets as an appetizer and can you say mouth explosion!!!? For my main dish, I ordered a breakfast tradition: Waffle, Fried Egg, and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. Customer service was top notch. The restaurant was orderly and clean, including the bathroom. Definitely a place you need to visit!!!
Yum, yum, yummy! Jarde was attentive, Chef checked on the food satisfaction, owner introduced herself. Omelet was prepared perfectly and veggies were delicious. Bacon portion was good and perfectly crispy. I loved the fried green tomatoes with feta. Great food and experience!
